Beth Gorsd - Yeshiva

The remarkable community of Brunoy—a veritable forest—rests on solid and unshakeable foundations. These foundations were laid by the community's first members, who, despite their limited means, kept the community going, even when it had few members and few resources.

Among the unforgettable pillars of this community are the couple R' Aharon Nathan and Aliza Gorsd, who dedicated their entire lives to the community, never seeking reward. They founded an exemplary family, and their numerous descendants, who, like their parents, are pillars of the many Jewish communities in France and Israel, are the magnificent fruits that testify to the greatness of their roots.

In memory of R' Aharon Nathan and Aliza Gorsd, and for the elevation of their souls, their children dedicated the community's central synagogue. It was inaugurated in 2025 in the presence of family members, the educational team and students of the yeshiva, as well as many friends.

Keren Zelda

A wedding is a joyous event, but sometimes also an expensive one, requiring many resources. To ease the burden on families in need, a gma'h fund called "Keren Zelda" was established (in memory of Zelda Nemenov Za”l, a young girl from the community who died prematurely).

This fund offers loans on favorable terms to organize a wedding in joy and serenity.

Events
community

The Yeshiva organizes community events throughout the year, particularly during Jewish holidays.

These meetings are specially designed to welcome people who are not very active or who do not practice, in a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Moments of sharing and discovery, these events offer a friendly and relaxed setting, allowing everyone to feel at ease.

Many local residents, although not very religious, regularly attend these meetings to enjoy an open and friendly atmosphere.

We invite you to discover these moments of conviviality and joy.
